The world famous sacred manuscript known as “The Book of Kells” is the main inspiration for the jewelry design of the Irish jewelry company Tara Ware Ltd.

This multicolored gold plated enamel bird brooch pin set in sterling silver (and hallmarked) is a prime example of their work. Tara Ware Ltd made unique items from the mid 1930s to somewhere around 1980.
