It's a lovely vintage, copper sugar bowl with its original lid from 1960's.
It stamped at the bottom as "GÜLCAN Erzincan" which means it produced by a coppersmith master of the Erzincan city of the Turkey. It's one of the good sample of traditional coppersmithing.
There are embroidered floral patterns on the surface and on the lid which made by traditional forging style; "pitting". First the patterns are drawing with chisel pens on the surface then they are engraving on copper by striking with blow by hammer.
There is little spoon hole on the lid. So you can put the sugar spoon in it without open lid.
It's an amazing collectible piece. Also lovely decorative accessory in rustic/countryside decor style. It has a great patina and minor scratches on the surfaces. There are no crack or missing piece on the body or lid.
