25+ Seeds Red Scarlet Geranium Flowers
You can sow geranium seeds in spring or autumn, with germination usually occurring in late spring.
Prepare the soil
Fill a small pot or seed tray with moist, well-draining seed compost or potting soil that's about 2–3 inches deep.
Plant the seeds
Space the seeds out so they have room to germinate, and cover them with a thin layer of compost or vermiculite. You can also lightly press the soil on top of the seeds.
Water
Gently water the seeds with a fine mist or rose spray. If the soil looks dry, you can remove the cover and mist it again.
Provide warmth and light
Place the pot in a warm location with bright, indirect light, like a sunny south-facing window. You can also try putting the pot on top of the refrigerator or using a heat mat to reach temperatures in the 70s during the day and no lower than 60°F at night.
