Charming estate sale find in this hard to find out in the wild, vintage 1950's Leonard Weisgard • Three Little Kittens framed art print! Darling nursery rhyme graphic depicts these 3 sweet kittens with their colorful bows on! This print is an ode to the Three Little Kittens book from 1958 that was illustrated by Leonard Joseph Weisgard. He was an American writer and illustrator of more than 200 children's books. He is known best for his collaborations with writer Margaret Wise Brown.

Prints like these were all the rage for thrifty housewives from coast to coast to decorate on a budget and mostly available through mail order magazine or newspaper ads back in the day. Print is made of a sturdy thick cardboard / press board type material. Bright and vivid blue eyes on these tabby kittens surrounded by foliage and a butterfly! Nice thick wooden frame painted cream with hanger attached on back for instant decorating. Precious for a nursery decor, kiddos playroom or for the cat lover that needs more cuteness in their life!

Print and frame are in excellent condition! No holes, dings or pings! Usual light surface wear to frame here and there from years of adding glam to Susie's bedroom walls, but does not distract from this lovely piece of history! Please see enlarged pics for best description and details.
