This beautiful Chinese porcelain Tea bowl/ sipper cup(no handles) and saucer set is from the mid 19th century. It features the classic blue and white underglaze design that is typical of Canton porcelain. The scene is of a Chinese landscape, with buildings, a bridge, and a scholar in a pavilion. The details are exquisite, and the colors are still bright and vibrant. The plate measures 5.3/4" diameter, 1" deep. The cup is 2. 1/2 X 3"inches. It is in good overall condition, with only minor chips and wear, as seen in the images.
