This was another fascinating research project that we needed all the marks to match up. We have not found the maker unfortunately although a pretty close match to Otto Reinhold Pettelius except he did not work in Vilnius and his work dates (1838-1874) preceded the assayer marks who we know absolutely to be Anatoli Apollonovich Artbashev based on the assayer mark he used in Vilnius likely between 1899-1908 (he also worked there in 1916).
Because it was a smaller town (Vilnius) not as many silversmiths are known unless they lasted a long time or were simply well known in other larger cities as well.
Hallmarked with the familiar “84” meaning 84/96 or .875 silver.
Appears to be hand engraved as many were and would hold a single shot of cold Russian vodka. Just over 1.5 inches tall and weighs 14 grams.
Will ship USPS with tracking to winning buyer
