1959 Winter Dance Party
Concert Poster
(*** Possibly the most famous concert poster of all time ***).

The last tour in the careers of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper.  Leaving Clearlake, Iowa on a cold and snowy February night in 1959, the single engine plane that they were traveling in crashed - taking the lives of Buddy Holly (23), Ritchie Valens (17) and JP Richardson aka The Big Bopper (28).
The original poster recently sold at auction for nearly $500,000.00.

. . . But, this is not about the tragedy, it is about celebrating the lives of Rock N Roll Pioneers and the excitement that their early records still bring to their listeners.
