This is a bird box camera, an accessory for bird boxes. It doesn't come with a bird box; simply add the camera to any regular bird box.
This is NOT a home security camera. It's designed for use in bird boxes, bird cages, or hedge houses.

- The night vision switch won't bother or attract birds. We removed the noisy parts, so switching between day and night mode is silent and won't disturb the birds.

Note: The camera can be accessed via RTSP if you don't want to use our app or create an app account. But for advanced features and security, it's best to use the app.

Power Options and built-in 800mAh battery
The built-in 800mAh battery backs up operation for up to 3hours, in case of any power outages happened.
To run continuously, plug the camera in via micro USB adapters.
The camera could keep recording while recharging the battery.
Supports Mobile Power banks as power source, if you cannot find a power outlet:

Note: The camera is not designed as running only with Solar Panel. Only using Solar Pannel as power source could not support camera 24/7 running. It may only work for 2~4 hours.

Important Note
- the MW5 Bird Box Camera is not waterproof, you would need to protect it from moisture using a plastic or metal cover or box. Please note that the main module is for heat dissipation, so it should not be placed in a too small airtight box.
- To install the camera in your bird box, you may have to do a little work yourself (glue or stick it to the woods).
- the MW5 uses exterior surfaces for heat dissipation. So if the camera feels hot to the touch, it's nothing to worry about. The surface material is heat resistant up to 248°F, so it's safe. In addition, the material used is flame retardant.
