Offered is a vintage egg shaped, lacquered, paper mâché trinket box made in India. The hand painted and brightly colored design includes a night scene with deer and a tiger on a black background. Gold paint outlines and accents the design. Inside the box is a small cube shaped, gold colored paper Mâché box, also made in India. Both pieces are in very good to excellent condition. There is some minor wear to the paint on the egg shaped box around the rims. Minimal wear to the small, cube shaped box. Please see photos for more detail on condition.
