Season 1

Koudo Ikusei Senior High School presents itself as a paradise, boasting freedom and high rankings. However, beneath the surface lies a harsh reality. The school segregates students into four classes based on merit, with only the top classes receiving preferential treatment.

Kiyotaka Ayanokouji finds himself in Class D, the lowest-ranked class filled with supposed misfits. Here, he meets Suzune Horikita, determined to climb to Class A and convinced of a clerical error placing her in D, and Kikyou Kushida, the friendly class idol striving for popularity.

While class placement is fixed, rankings are not, allowing lower-class students to rise by outperforming their higher-ranked peers. In Class D, any means are fair game to advance. In this competitive environment, can they defy the odds and ascend to the pinnacle of success?

Season 2

Life aboard the cruise ship resumes with tumultuous waters for the first-year students of Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School. Fresh from the Island Special Examination, they are thrust into yet another high-stakes special exam, where both collective class standing and individual success hang in the balance.

Amidst the intricate rules of the new challenge, tensions escalate with the emergence of two pivotal figures: Kakeru Ryuuen, fueled by a desire to surpass all others after the previous test's outcome, and Kei Karuizawa, whose past threatens to destabilize her crucial role in Class D.

As the plot thickens and rivalries intensify, Kiyotaka Ayanokouji reprises his role as a strategic mastermind, leveraging his cunning and strategic acumen to guide Class D toward victory while fending off imminent threats from hostile adversaries.
