Local grassland wildlfower, lovely normal to observe these plants developing wild out on the grassland. Isn't actually a 'grass', rather is an individual from the Iris family. A seriously versatile plant - have seen this filling in obscure soggy circumstances on the edge of woods, and in extremely dry, hot, bright areas in the Grasslands National Park. Grows 4" - 12" in stature. Will fill in full sun or part-conceal. Space 12" separated. Solid in zones 2-9. Blossoms in May and June! Fantastic for the front of the line or maybe planted along a way. Strong in zones 2-9. Likewise a simple to develop house plant.
