Great Pictures by Great Painters Selected from the Public Galleries of Great Britain and the Continent Reproduced in Colour, with Descriptive Notes in two volumes.  Descriptive notes by Arthur Fish.  Published by Funk & Wagnalls Company, New York, Cassell & Company, Limited, London, 1916.  There are tipped in color illustrations for each painting for each artist as well as a detailed description of the painting.  Both have the dust jackets with protective tape at the top and bottom edges, front and back, with some browning discoloration, especially on the spine.  The jackets have taped edges and also have some minor tears and a few spots of missing paper but otherwise both books are in very good condition. Each volume measures 14 3/4"x10 3/4"x1 1/2" and together they weigh almost 10 pounds.
