Hardcover. Folio, b&w frontis, viii, 576 pp; Vol. II: viii, 576 pp. Three quarter dark brown leather with brown cloth covers. Ornate gilt title at front cover with gilt globe. Gilt title at spine with 6 compartments and gilt raised bands. All 3 open sides gilt.  Corners rubbed, spine ends rubbed. Internally, very good condition, the plates bright and clean. Volume II has 2 indent lines in the cover running top to bottom.  Each volume measures 13"x10 1/4"x2 1/2" and they weigh 21 pounts.
