Die-cut books are a relatively new phenomenon to the book world, requiring intense pressure to cut through the text block to form a shape; and fairly expensive since the blades are only useful for a single book. So compared to the basic Little Golden Book format, these are relatively hard to find. The format is hardly exclusive to LGB, but I've not seen one published anywhere else but Wisconsin. Samuel Lowe did some. Whitman did some.
