Scabiosa Focal Scoop™
The Focal Scoop™ is larger than the Scoop™ series, with flowers that can grow up to 10cm across on longer and stronger stems. If you've had issues with the flower necks snapping off, which could indicate a calcium problem, you might have better luck with the Focal Scoop variety.

The Scoop Scabiosa has transformed the use of Scabiosa in the cut flower industry. They are larger and longer-lasting than previous varieties. These plants are highly productive, often producing 20-30 stems per plant. Harvest the flowers when about 1/3 of the florets are open, or when the first ring of florets has opened around the outside of the flower. To encourage more blooming, regularly remove spent flowers. In hot summer locations, the plants may stop producing blossoms for a couple of months, but they tend to regrow as the autumn temperatures settle in. Trim the plant back to a few inches and allow it to regrow.
Growing tips:
Soil Preference: Well drained soil of medium fertility.
Spacing:  6" between plants.
Pinching: Pinch out the tip once growth resumes after transplant.
