This appears to be quality glass, with a nicely made base. It's a solid dark ruby color, which is more sheer toward the top. I do not know who made it, nor when or where, so I'm guessing it's from the 1990s. The color reminds me of Luminarc's red or Wheaton's, but it is not marked in any manner -- not even a mold number. The mold seams are nicely polished off.

It's about 2 3/4 inches tall, 3 1/2 inches in diameter at the base, 2 1/2 inches in diameter at the top; and it weighs 7.5 ounces. There is a well in the center, with 4 evenly spaced ribs to hold a taper candle; 6 rounded brackets or bumps in the upper portion, to hold a tea light or votive candle in the center; or a 1 1/2 inch wide pillar candle can sit on top of the brackets/bumps. (It will only hold one candle at a time, not all three types at once.)
