This is a totally cool And rare 1949 Art Deco yet quite retro Inland XXX glass decanter with a black bakelite handle. Handle passes all bakelite tests such as 409, hot water and torching! Handle is very art deco in design with a concentric ribbed design on the outer edge. Has a triple silvered ring around bulbous bottom and silvered glass neck.

Entire piece is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and barely any signs of age except for it's style. Etched On side it reads "Inland XXX Patent No. DES-160.186 Hand Blown". Has a metal band which hold on the bakelite handle. Measures a little over 9" tall. Circa 1949 based on the design patent which was filed on April 2, 1949. This is so retro, Eames Era with a touch of Art Deco! It has it all!
