INSTRUCTION
Please read this instruction carefully before you start.
This instruction is common to all products in the series.
However, due to small differences in the contents, some
of the following descriptions may not apply to your
project.
1.Mixing the plaster
You can get more than
50-70ml
one bag of plaster
powder(100g) in this
project. The content of this part is for mixing one
bag of plaster for one time. Open a bag of plaster
powder and pour it into the mixing bowl. Slowly start
adding water to the powder and keep stirring gently.
At the same time, it is necessary to observe the
condition of plaster to determine how much water is
needed next. Do not pour too much water in at once
as that may make the plaster mixture too runny. Stop
adding water when you have a thick, smooth paste
(this will normally be after adding about 50 to 70 ml
of water). Do not stir for too long, otherwise the
plaster will start to set. If it starts to develop into a
"lump", it will be hard to use it for moulding
2.Moulding
Put the moulding tray on
a level surface with the
cavity side facing upwards.
Pour the plaster mixture into the cavities. Gently
shake the mould to get rid of any air bubbles from
the plaster. If one bag of plaster powder doesn't allow
you to fill all the empty cavities, you can use the next
bag of plaster to fill it. The plaster powder in the
project could provide you with sufficient experimental
materials. After pouring the plaster, use the spatula
provided to make them smooth.
3. Leave the plaster to set
This will take approximately 60 minutes. Spread a tea
towel out on a level surface. When the plaster has
completely hardened.
gently press the mould
1 from the back to release
60 min-
the hardened plaster onto
the prepared tea towel.
4 Painting
To get the best results,
When the plaster is
completely dry (this will
normally take 24 hours), you can paint them.
5.Making magnets
At first, cut the magnet
strip into pieces. Peel the
backing paper from the
magnets and stick them firmly onto the backs of the
plaster. If the magnet does not stick firmly, remove it
and wait until the plaster is completely dry.
