300 BRIGHT RED ORACH SEEDS FRENCH SPINACH (Atriplex hortensis) Heirloom
Leaves are deep purple and have a spinach-like flavor. NOTE: Expect a small percentage of all-green plants.
CULTURE: Orach does well in any well-drained garden soil. Tolerant of both hot and cold weather, it is best planted early spring through midsummer. Sow seeds 1-2" apart, covering 1/4", in rows spaced 18-30" apart. Thin to 6-10" apart.
HARVEST: Pick leaves when plants reach 1' tall, or more. The plants will continue to produce young, edible leaves.
