This antique vintage wooden figurine set features a pair of hand-carved monks. The intricate details and multi-color design make this a beautiful addition to any collection. Measuring about 14 inches tall these made from wood and is a vintage original our estimate is the 1900-1940 age range based on the old patina. There is some carving on the front of each pedestal that may be writing.

These come from the estate of a TWA pilot who traveled worldwide and died in 2004. They were identified as Asian and likely from the region of Burma, we are not experts in this area and the region of origin could be another Asian location.

Pre-owned, good condition, some aging and wear visible to finish.
