Good Mornin' John Denver was written for upper elementary, middle school and junior high students. The collection represents an attempt to bring a popular group of contemporary American folk-style songs into any musical classroom. The culmination of the nine units is the performance of the song with musical understanding. To help students get to this point each unit begins with a detailed learning activity project of instruments used, performance form, performance notes and learning objectives.  Exercises are suggested to begin each class.
