This photo print reproduces a wonderful and sexy pin-up painting by Gil Elvgren which is titled "Looking For Trouble." A beautiful woman has descended a staircase holding a lamp and a gun after hearing a strange noise (caused by a cat).

Elvgren started his career as a commercial artist and began working for the Stevens & Gross advertising agency in Chicago in the late 1930s. During this time, he created numerous illustrations for advertising campaigns, magazine covers, and calendars. In the 1940s and 1950s, Elvgren became closely associated with the Brown & Bigelow advertising company, where he produced many of his famous pin-up paintings.
