Description

This ancient tree has been cultivated for thousands of years, prized for it fruit and foliage. The Oblonga variety is known for its large fruit and high quality oil. Research suggests that Oblonga is the same cultivar as the main Olive variety in Italy, Frantoio. Coupled with a natural resistance to Verticillium (Root rot), Oblonga is a great addition to any xeriscape or Mediterranean landscape.
