This magnolia features large, vibrant canary yellow flowers that bloom more frequently than other magnolias, as they appear with the foliage in late spring after the risk of frost. Fast-growing, it is ideal as a standalone specimen or paired with summer-flowering plants. The Yellow Bird Magnolia thrives in acidic, well-drained loamy soils and requires full sun to partial shade, preferring at least 4 hours of direct sunlight daily.
