The Whirlpool suspension kit is an OEM replacement part responsible for providing stability and support to the washer's drum and tub during operation. The rods are located within the washer's cabinet, surrounding the drum. Their primary function is to absorb and dampen the vibrations and movements generated by the spinning drum during wash cycles. These rods are designed to keep the drum balanced, preventing excessive shaking, bouncing, or movement that could potentially damage the appliance and surrounding area.

This kit comes with a set of 4 suspension rods, bearings, and bushings.

This part fixes the following symptoms:

• Excessive vibrations and shaking during wash and spin cycles
• Unusual and loud banging or knocking noises coming from the washer
• Washer drum not staying centered or balanced during operation
