You are purchasing 1 Catalpa Tree in a 1 qt. pot, 12-18" in height. Catalpa Trees can grow between 40-70' tall with arching canopies and typically live around 60 years. These deciduous trees are hardy in zones 4-8, able to tolerate moist soil, but they are better suited for dry areas. The leaves are arrow-shaped and glossy bright green, turning bright yellow-green in the fall before dropping as temperatures cool. Flowers bloom in the spring and last through summer. Catalpa Trees are ideal for providing shade, lining streets, and thriving in dry, difficult-to-plant areas. They are also commonly planted to attract Catalpa worms, which can be frozen and used as bait. Their rapid growth and easy care make them perfect for creating a quickly maturing tree line. Due to soil restrictions, orders to California are shipped bare root from November to April while the trees are dormant. We do not ship to AK, HI, or P.R.
