This vintage postcard is a souvenir of the NRHS Convention held in St. Louis, Missouri, from June 14-17, 1990. It features the Black Hills Central RR #7 leaving Keystone for Oblivion, South Dakota, in July 1964. The Baldwin 2-6-2 locomotive was built in May 1919 for lumber railroad service at Prescott, Arkansas, and later used on the Caddo & Choctaw RR and the Prescott and Northwestern. The BHCRR, a tourist railroad, runs over ex-CB&Q tracks with a ruling grade of 4%.
