I am not positive but I believe that this book is a first edition from 1887. It was loaned to a high school student in 1890 to record area plants. 37 different plants were recorded in April/May 1890 all in Rochester. Penciled handwriting is fairly good but using or abbreviating technical botanical terms. Several pressed flowers and leaves. Book is in very nice condition with spot of scuffing on cover.
