• Condition: All the glasses are free of chips, cracks and fleabites, including the exterior cuts. The glasses are blown with polished pontils, cut with a 16 point starburst. Half the glasses have fine scratches in the field between the rim and cuts which are only visible at certain angles. The bottoms have only slight shelf wear. The glass is clear and free of cloudiness with nice clarity, resonance and a slight glow under UV light. There are no notable flaws in the glass.
Several companies created the Strawberry Diamond and Fan pattern including Bergen, Dorlflinger, Hawkes, Hoare, Pitkin and Brooks, and Mt Washington to name a few. This particular shape, size and exact cut has only been found in the Rochester Cut Glass catalog.
