To grow sow seed directly after last frost date for your region. Cover lightly with soil no more 1/8". Some exposure can help aid in germination but covering slightly with soil helps hold seed in place during watering. Keep moist until germination occurs.
Can be started ahead in pots or trays for a jump start on the season. Always harden off new plants over a few days to acclimate them before permanently transplanting outdoors.
