Are you looking for a warm and cosy knitted alpaca ear flap hat with free shipping to anywhere in the world?
This is a traditional alpaca wool hat, known in the Andes as a Ch'ullu (hispanicised as “chullo”), handknit by indigenous Aymara women in the finest, silkiest, natural and undyed fair trade alpaca wool sourced from an Alpaca farm in Chile's central valley.
The ch'ullu is a traditional woollen Andean hat, with earflaps that can be tied under the chin with attached woollen laces, keeping its wearer warm and protecting his head and ears from the harsh Andean highland winds and cold. They have been worn by Andean natives for thousands of years and the designs and colours on them contain special meanings for the indigenous people who make and wear them.
Our knit alpaca hat measures approximately 34 centimetres or 13.5 inches in length from the very top to the end of the earflaps and 23 centimetres or 9 inches in width.
As well as looking good, this stylish, knitted alpaca chullo hat will keep your head and ears warm during those cold winter months.
