Dale's Strain features leaves that emerge chartreuse with olive-green markings and mature to silvery-green with spruce-green veins. Tiny, pink, bell-shaped flowers emerge on wiry taller stems.  Wonderful perennials with low maintenance. This particular strain is a native of Missouri. Likes shade, and dappled light the best, but this one can handle more sun than other strains. If high elevation can take more sun with cool temperatures.  In many climates it is an evergreen. Produces many stems with delicate flowers with water and well draining soils. Heuchera make a fabulous border plant with nearly evergreen clumps of delicate looking scalloped edged leaves. They bloom early and last through July. Plant in pots on shady patios or under trees. The Coral Bells are versatile and flowers are often used as interesting additions with any cut flowers especially since they have a nice fragrance. Attractive foliage and airy flower panicles provide color and contrast to the rock garden, perennial border, native plant garden, open woodland garden or shade garden. Good edging plant. Mass to form an attractive ground cover.
