This 4" X 6" print of a painting of a WWII German Heinkel He111 airliner/bomber aircraft has a military green wooden frame. The frame measures 6.5" X 8.5" and has a routered piece on the back for hanging on the wall. A mounting screw is included along with a dowel for displaying on a shelf or desk. Restrictions placed on Germany after WWI prohibited the country from building bomber aircraft. The He111 was described as a "wolf in sheep's clothing" because it was presented as a civilian airliner, when it was actually built as a heavy bomber. During the early stages of WWII, the He111 was the major Luftwaffe bomber. This item is proudly made in the USA by a veteran owned company.
