Solid steel. Overlaps the edge of the turret hole opening all the way around by 1 1/2". Installation requires no drilling and hardware is provided. Caulking is also required if you are seeking a tight weather seal. This is very sturdy and is strong enough for a fat guy to stand on it without bending.

Take note that this 45” turret hole cover will fit most, but not all Turret openings . Measure BEFORE you order! Then compare to our drawing dimensions.
