Amazon Mist is a compact ornamental carex grass that produces slender leaves are bluish-green on the top side and silvery white on the underside, each one twisting upon itself at the tips which makes the plant look somewhat “misty”, hence the name. Commonly called sedge, they can be used as accents, groundcovers, landscaping, and containers. Tiny yellow flowers rise on wispy stems in midsummer. Very eye-catching in containers or planted along a retaining wall and allowing the “fountain” to overflow!

Growing Information
Pot up plugs and grow them on in cool, frost free conditions until plants are well grown. Gradually acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions over 7-10 days before planting out in there final positions. Plant Carex into any moist, but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Brilliant for patio containers, mixed with flowering plants.
