This vintage postcard features the Maine Central's F3A Number 683, built in 1948, heading a westbound passenger train on the Rockland Branch at Damariscotta Mills, Maine, in August of 1950. The postcard celebrates the 25th anniversary of the New York Chapter, NRHS, and includes a photograph by Walt Gifford from the collection of Ronald Johnson.
