This vintage postcard captures the Union Pacific 4006 "Big Boy" working in the snow on Sherman Hill, Wyoming, in November 1956. Built in 1941, this locomotive was designed for heavy freight service and is one of the world's largest steam locomotives. The postcard is exhibited at the National Museum of Transport in St. Louis.
