ANTIQUE BRONZE OIL LAMPS

A pair of exquisite antique bronze Tibetan I purchased in years ago.

I was mesmerized by these exquisite oil lamps when I first saw them. The antique dealer could not tell me their age but knew they came from Tibet.  Marvelous 4 sided stem is on the back of a turtle and has 6 carvings of Buddha on each side. Fanciful Dragons climb 2 sides of this beautiful lamp.

The graceful oil lamp had pierced dangles suspended from the inverted bowl. 

Mounted regally on top in a fanciful arch is a 4 armed Ganesh with 4 symbolic items in his hands.

One stem can come off the post of the turtle but the other seems to not budge.
