LOT (3) 1965 BLACK ATOMIC WHAM-O SUPERBALLS SUPERB

TWO of the three, lot # 2729 especially and then lot #2422 are some of the finest the seller has ever sold. #2729 is museum quality. The third is missing a lot number and may be earlier. The third is not in the pristine condition out of the other two. 

Considering nearly 60 years old they retain their high bounce and two have a slight unique Zectron rubber smell. Amazing! 

On two of the three the ATOMIC LOGO AND WHAM O ETC ARE DISTINCT. The mold seams are clear and distinct. 

THESE 1965 toys were the must have FAD Toy.  They were made of an innovative rubber polymer ZECTRON. This was the discovery of NORMAN STINGLEY (patent 1964).( Read bio imaged. )

These balls could bounce over a three story building. See description of other amazing things you could do with them. Some even wound up in the White House in Washington D.C. 

ORIGINAL LARGE SUPER BALLS- being 60 years old are becoming difficult to find in this condition. A lot have large amounts of dings, fractures, and an odd fungus which attacks the rubber imparting a powdery moldy white color. These are blackish green depending on the lighting.
