There is a vertical sun-bar along the front right edge & a horizontal sun-bar along the front lower edge, plus a fainter vertical sun-bar along the front left edge -- plus a 7/16" vertical tear along the front lower spine edge, with a 3/16" vertical tear along the rear lower spine edge, with spine fraying in between both -- plus 1/16" exposed spine at the upper spine edge --  otherwise typical condition for a digest-sized magazine of nearly 70 years, with wear & chipping to edges & corners, plus creases, scratches, folds, indentations, lesser tears, rub-wear, browning pages, soiling, etc -- overall condition Good Minus


Despite what the Contents page says ("VOL. 1, NO. 12"), this is actually the very first issue of ALFRED HITCHCOCK'S MYSTERY MAGAZINE, as Hitch attests to on the front left inside cover (see photos), as well as on page 144 (see photos again).  Here's one of those rare opportunities to pick up a piece of publishing (and mystery!) history!
