- Common German Chamomile is a fast-growing annual that will start producing a full bloom of tiny white daisy like flowers in about 2 months from sowing. You can start harvesting immediately by cutting the flowers with some stem as soon as they appear. They will keep growing back for a continuous harvest until late fall. Just let dry in the sun on a screen or towel. Remove dried chaff, leaves, stems. Store centers in a airtight container until it's tea time. Also used in hair rinses, soaps and shampoos. Easy to grow from seed. Patio containers or the garden. Anywhere with full sun and light steady water. A little organic fertilizer will help if soil is poor. German Chamomile will reseed itself if a few later flowers are left alone to live out they natural life cycle, die and drop seed that will sprout next spring in roughly the same place.2000+seeds per order.
