Step into the past with this extremely rare pair of vintage Cherokee Native American wooden dolls meticulously handcrafted by famous doll artists Richard and Berdina Crowe (Eastern Band of Cherokee) of Cherokee, North Carolina . Richard and Berdina Crowe (both deceased) have a very similar pair of folk art dolls displayed at The Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian in New York.
Each doll is hand carved by Richard Cowe, then adorned by Berdina with traditional attire, embodying the rich cultural heritage and artistry of Native American craftsmanship.
