The Purple Possum Passion fruit vine (Passiflora edulis) produces stunningly intricate flowers and highly aromatic, edible fruit. Passiflora vines are larval host plants for many butterflies, including the Zebra Longwing and Gulf Fritillary. Butterflies may eat your plants up, but Passifloras grow quickly enough to stay ahead of the larvae.
