With the Dwarf Orinoco, you get all the same versatile qualities of the Orinoco Banana in a much smaller size (6-10 feet at maturity). Dwarf varieties are great for your landscaping and are also great candidates for container growing. Use peat or potting soil and start in a 1-gallon pot (7-8 inches). When ready, move to a 5 or 7-gallon pot (12-14 inches) and then to a 15 or even 25-gallon container (18-24 inches).
