These are perfectly safe to drink from as the glow liquid is in its own separate sleeve of the cup allowing you to drink from the cup without ingesting any of the glow liquid.

There are 2 small glow sticks on each side of the cup

Press firmly on each glow stick until you hear them snap, then shake the cup vigorously.
