Benefits and Properties: Creole orange petitgrain essential oil is made from the young, light green shoots, leaves, and unripe fruits of the jungle-hardy creole orange tree of the Peruvian Amazon. It is a bright and uplifting scent with green, herbaceous notes.
About the Plant: One of the world's most popular fruits, the thorny, adaptable orange tree has been grown in the Amazon since the time of the Conquest. The jungle-hardy creole orange variety is ruggedly resistant to the high humidity and fungus-rich environment of the Peruvian Amazon.
