Charles Dudley Arnold was the official photographer of the the Chicago World's Fair of 1893. Arnold was an obscure Buffalo N. Y. photographer when he was hired by Fair Director Daniel Burnham in 1892 to photograph construction at the "White City", and would continue as the holder of the photography exhibit at the fair.
