Red Aztec Spinach is an heirloom plant with mild red greens. They have a taste like spinach & can be uséd in all the same ways. They are great for fun red sprouts, micro-greens, baby leaves, regular leaves, & the edible seed heads. The leaves will hold their color when they are cooked, enabling you to add great color to many dishes. Red Aztec Spinach’s seed heads (similar to lamb's quarters or quinoa) can eaten like the heads of broccoli – uséd in stir fries, battered & deep fried, or sauteed.
