Offered for your consideration is this beautiful antique Hand Turned Treenware Trinket Box or Lidded Bowl (see images). This lovely piece has a turned ringed design on the lid and base accented with black coloring and a black ringed design on the inside of the lid (see images). The lid has been made to be pushed firmly onto the box to create a closed seal and works as it should. It is in wonderful condition with very minimal antique wear (see images). There are two small holes in the bottom which do not go through the box and used to be covered with a piece of felt or something similar which is no longer there. You can see the green remnants in the images of the bottom. I believe that these were made by the tool that they used to hold the box when working on it and were covered up by the above mentioned material. The box measures approx 3" tall with the lid and 4" in diameter.  A wonderful hand made piece of art to enjoy!
