What a great time was had at this 1940 Junior/Senior Prom for Etna High School in Etna, Pa., a suburb of Pittsburgh.  The prom was held at the Etna Elk's Ballroom and entertainment was provided by Clyde Knight and his Orchestra.  Whoever owned this little dance card had penciled in the names of several gentlemen she danced with. Inside the back cover she added a few notes which read, "Went with John Siebert, had a corsage of gardenias, went to Coverts (? illegible), wore my pink net dress, Jenn?? and ??? went along, swell time."  She never put her name so no idea who had the swell time but it is a great souvenir of a fun night.  Inside on the back page can also be found a list of the class officers and the name of the sponsor.  This little booklet measures approx. 4" x 3" and the little pencil is 2-1/2" long.  It matches the original aqua string which holds the booklet together.
